- ➤ West Newsmagazine and Mid Rivers Newsmagazine partnered with Parkway School District’s Spark business incubator program to offer two Parkway South High seniors a six-week digital media internship, during which they edited videos for the newspapers’ social media platforms and learned real-world digital storytelling skills. - ➤ On Wednesday, a new mental health app called Response launched to help schools support student wellness by offering 24-hour crisis access, mindfulness videos + peer support. - ➤ The county health director warned jail health services might be cut if the council fails to approve $2.8M for contract nurses—who currently provide 70% of care—for inmates.
