The Planning Commission recommended rezoning Westland Acres, a historic African American neighborhood on the border of Chesterfield and Wildwood, to allow 50 single-family homes while addressing environmental concerns—measures include stormwater management, erosion control and road improvements. The proposal by Provision Land Development received a close vote and will go before City Council next for further review.
