Here's your local news at a glance for Thursday, the 2nd of October.
Good morning, Chesterfield.
🎓 Education
Starting Sept. 6th, the ACT exam switched to a shorter paper-pencil format with fewer questions while students can still opt into the optional science section for STEM coverage—junior Lindsay Wang said the extra time per question may be helpful even though she prepared for the old format. District officials advise students to practice with the new timed tests and register for free ACT prep mini classes in preparation for the upcoming October exam, and juniors took a free exam on April 7th.
