A 60-unit townhome complex in Velda City is undergoing an $8.5 million renovation by local developers and community partners after years of planning, with new families expected to move in later this fall.
🎓 Education
The Parkway Board of Education voted unanimously on Aug.
12 to place a 46-cent operating tax levy on the Nov. 3 ballot to secure funds for staffing, classroom resources, academic programs, and school safety. The levy would cost about $7 per week for a $400,000 home & follows detailed community feedback.

Bellerive Country Club asks fans to carpool or use rideshares for the BMW Championship this weekend because parking nearly filled up on Thursday.
Upgraded parking in the O Lot on 1 Solutions Pkwy is available plus riders will be dropped off at 175 South Mason Road near the event entrance.
