ST. LOUIS COUNTY — Repair crews fixed a water main on Mackenzie Road in Affton after it ruptured at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, worked on two mains in Webster Grove that broke at 1:40 a.m. Friday, and were expected to complete repairs on a main on Towne South Road in Concord by Friday afternoon as rising temperatures strained the system. The breaks occurred during a heat wave that increased water usage and pressure across the network.
