EDUCATION NEWS

  • Marquette High experienced a disruptive sewer smell on Monday, May 4 that forced teachers to shift classes to the library as students reported headaches and difficulty focusing. The school’s facilities team extended the ventilation pipes (a fix expected to reduce the odor) to ease classroom disruptions moving forward.  Marquette Messenger
  • Andrew Gibb-Clark will be MHS's new Freshman Principal next school year after replacing Dr. Rick Regna (who is moving to Selvidge Middle School); he visited the campus on May 6 to meet staff and will welcome freshmen at orientation this summer.  Marquette Messenger
