- ➤ A federal judge sentenced Jerome 'Mujaa' Williams—a former Cure Violence worker—to 11½ years in prison for aiding a drug distributor in ordering the murder-for-hire of Titus Armstead, who was suspected of stealing from a stash house, in April 2022 in St. Louis. St. Louis Post-Dispatch
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri Senate passed a bill to end local rules that stop landlords from asking about a renter’s income — it now goes back to the House before reaching the governor. The bill was co-sponsored by Rep. Ben Keathley from Chesterfield and Rep. Chris Brown, and critics warn it may reduce affordable housing options. St. Louis Post-Dispatch
