- ➤ Environmental groups will host the third annual Confluence Trash Bash on Saturday to clean up rivers, creeks, and illegal dumping sites across the region. Volunteers who pre-register will receive gloves, trash bags, and a free t-shirt—organizers hope to build on last year's effort that removed 5.2 tons of trash from more than 30 sites while a post-cleanup picnic at the Audubon Center at Riverlands follows at 11 a.m. First Alert 4

- ➤ St. Charles County officials announced a $50M state grant for a new regional law enforcement training center that will feature real-world simulation replicas and virtual reality rooms—officials said the center will serve officers from Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties and will be detailed at a press conference in Chesterfield on Thursday. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A bat collected from a Webster Groves home on April 3 tested positive for rabies, marking the first case in Saint Louis County this year.
