- ➤ North County Police Cooperative officers responded to a 911 call on Friday afternoon about a Regions Bank robbery in unincorporated St. Louis County—detaining 48-year-old Joseph Thomas only six minutes after the call; he now faces theft charges and holds a $150,000 cash-only bond. First Alert 4
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A storm on Friday damaged part of Parkway Central High School and snapped the power pole near its front sign—wind tore part of the roof off and damaged some computers in business classes. The school district said classes will not be affected when students return after spring break. First Alert 4
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A video sent to First Alert 4 shows a funnel cloud over West St. Louis County on Friday evening (recorded by Austin Blake around 9:13 p.m.) with lightning flashing in the background. The storm is one of 19 reported across Missouri that reportedly caused 12 deaths. First Alert 4
