- ➤ On Feb. 23, the DOJ reported that SSD violated disability law by using excessive seclusion, prompting Rep. Christ to introduce HB 2933 that allows districts to opt out after a local vote. If passed, withdrawal will start July 1 of the next eligible school year. West Newsmagazine
