About this event
Join us after Sunday Service on November 22 for a special Rising Thought Author Spotlight featuring poet, artist, teacher, and author Mary Feagan.
Mary combines her love of writing and art to create heartfelt works that inspire reflection, creativity, and spiritual connection. She is the author and illustrator of two inspirational poetry books, Finding Grandmama God and From the Mercy Chair, the children’s book Rainbow Child, and the cartoon collection Questions to Ask a Cat When It Comes Back from a Trip. Mary also teaches art at St. Louis Community College–Meramec.
Inspired by her own spiritual journey, Finding Grandmama God: And Talking Things Over with Her is a whimsical collection of poems and illustrations exploring the discovery of a loving inner divine presence—a kind, nurturing voice that reflects our true selves.
Stop by the lobby to meet Mary and explore her books from 10:30–11 AM before Sunday Service and again from 12:30–1 PM. Then, join us in the sanctuary from 12:10–12:30 PM as Mary shares a live reading of several of her whimsical and heartfelt poems.
Following the reading, you'll have the opportunity to connect with Mary, hear more about her work, and purchase a copy of Finding Grandmama God in the Rising Thought Bookstore.
