Bird Care Class (& New Volunteer/Foster Orientation*)

About this event

Bird Care Class (& New Volunteer/Foster Orientation*) Held most months at the Humane Society on Macklind

Sign-Up Here: https://signup.com/go/txcjCHm Advance sign-up and attendance confirmation are required to attend.

Join us to learn more about STAR, our rescue process, and all things bird care — from diet and cage setup to recognizing signs of illness, managing hormones, and bird-proofing your home to keep our feathered friends safe and happy.

Because these classes are led entirely by volunteers, we ask that everyone who signs up plan to attend (or cancel, in advance, if plans change). Confirming attendance a few days before class helps us ensure we have enough participants to hold the session — classes may be cancelled if there are too few confirmed attendees.

Questions? Email info@staravian.org Additional instructions — including parking info and how to find us inside HSMO — will be emailed a few days prior to the class.

*Interested in volunteering or fostering? We recommend completing a volunteer or foster application before attending to ensure you’re onboarded correctly.
