About this event

The String Cheese Incident (SCI) weaves bluegrass instrumentation into sprawling jams colored by rock, jazz, funk, and world rhythms, crafting concerts as communal, immersive events. Their fan-driven independence and adventurous setlists foster a loyal “Cheesehead” culture, while their genre-defying spirit keeps them a singular force in the jam scene.

The group’s lineup includes Bill Nershi, Michael Kang, Michael Travis, Keith Moseley, Kyle Hollingsworth, and Jason Hann.

They originated from local ski-town jam sessions, formed in 1993 in Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado, inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2022, and celebrated their 50th performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2023.

Additional info: $1 per ticket purchased for this event will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. The Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is a dedicated resource for music industry professionals, especially the teams that make your favorite shows come to life.
