About this event
Pianist and composer Marcus Roberts, often hailed as “the genius of the modern piano,” leads the Modern Jazz Generation. Blind since childhood, Roberts has built a celebrated career blending jazz and classical idioms. With a long-standing commitment to mentoring younger musicians, Roberts brings together a full eleven-piece ensemble for a powerful performance celebrating the rich traditions of jazz while embracing its evolving future. Blending virtuosic musicianship, dynamic arrangements, and the spirit of swing and the blues, this is a vibrant showcase of jazz across generations!
