About this event

Nature lovers ages 12 & up are invited to participate in the Honeysuckle Hack on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Schroeder Park and Stoecker Park. Bush honeysuckle, an invasive species, has been taking over Missouri woodlands and choking out native plants. This event offers a chance for community members to help remove this invasive plant and restore the beauty of our parks. Park staff will provide gloves, tools, and guidance to ensure volunteers of all experience levels can contribute. Donuts and drinks will be available to kick off the cleanup. Register your team at
