Class: Adult Beginner Ballet Class Description: This class is designed for adults who are new to ballet, or returning after time away, and want to build a strong, confident foundation. We’ll focus on learning classical ballet technique and vocabulary in a supportive, judgment-free environment, taking time to break down movements so you truly understand how and why they work. Through barre and center work, students will build strength, endurance, balance, and coordination while developing grace, musicality, and body awareness. Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this class. No prior ballet experience required. Attire: Form-fitting athletic wear. This can be classical ballet wear like a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers or leggings/shorts and tank top/sports bra with socks. Age Restrictions: This class is for everyone aged 18+ Class Rules and Policies: Class is limited to 10 students maximum. We do not allow any spectators (non-participants) in class. Classes are for people aged 18+. You must pre-register and reserve your space in class. Classes must be pre-paid prior to coming to the class. 1 time drop in class & class pass packages are non-refundable for any reason. Class packages are non-transferable. We have a strict and highly enforced 24 hour cancellation policy; see cancellation policy below. Cancellation Policy: Please understand that when you forget to cancel your class without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that class time slot, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to attend classes. You must cancel within the 24-hour cancellation window prior to the class, otherwise the class credit and payment associated with your reservation is forfeited. “NO SHOWS” and late cancellations will be charged and the class credit and payment associated with your reservation is forfeited. No exceptions. How to Cancel Out of a Class: Students are responsible for canceling their own classes online. No exceptions. All cancellations must be made online within the 24-hour cancellation window prior to the class, or the credit / payment associated with the reservation is forfeited. No exceptions. Sign into MindBody with your email and password. Go to the “My Info” tab and select the “My Schedule” option. Your complete schedule will be displayed. Click [Cancel] next to the class you would like to cancel out of. Verify the class has disappeared from your “My Schedule” page.
